Francesca Allias
Porté Mage and Computer Hacker

In Montaigne, money is power. Francesca came from a poor family and knew this from an early age. She decided to work her way up the corporate ladder. She and her twin sister Elaine had inherited Porté from their father. He had been a lawyer and their mother Margaret was his secretary. However their relationship had to be secret, in case Frank's wife discovered them. When Margaret became pregnant he saw no way to hide the truth. So he gave her a sum of money and fired her. She kept quiet knowing that the money was for her silence and she needed it.

But there is always a need in business for sorcery. Elaine and Francesca began working for the same firm. But they stayed apart, passing packages for the company between countries. But Francesca never stopped thinking ahead. A few years ago she met Francis O’Connell and began a passionate romance.

Together they committed a variety of fraud crimes. He supplied the low lives and street connections; she got access and worked the books. They married but divorced only two years later. The latter of the two Francesca did while Francis was in jail. He took the fall (her alibi was too good) for their latest job. She knew that any legal connection to him would deny her access to bigger prizes, but she didn't tell him, and knows he'll be angry when they meet again.

While Francis was in prison Francesca kept up with his old contacts. She made friends within the Rilasciare, but could not join. She hopes the funding for their terrorist activities will convince them she is serious about the cause, even if she is a sorcerer. She also got to know Alan Wendal, who has worked for her in operations before.

Francesca's Introduction to the Adventure

You are here because a Rilasciare contact told you that a job was going down. You brought in Alan, who has brought Veronica. You know some priest has the mission details, and it involves fighting against corporate sorcery. He probably has his own aggenda, but the mission goal is in line with Rilasciare policy. You are glad to have something to do, as Francis gets out of prison today, and you don't really want to see him. Divorce was so much easier when you didn't have to look into those passionate eyes.
