Setting

The adventure takes place after the Buffy episode (6.13) Dead Things and just before the Dr Who episode (1.11) Boom Town.

Buffy - is secretly seeing Spike, but hates herself for it. She will break up with him soon in episode 6.15 (As you were). Money is still tight, but her new job at the in the service industry (6.12 – Doublemeat Palace) is keeping that in check.
Willow – has broken up with Tara (episode 6.08 – Tabula Rosa) and decided to give up magic. However they will get together again in episode 6.18 (Entropy), Willow is currently trying to heal her magic addiction. So in this adventure, each time Willow’s player chooses not to use magic in an important situation the GM should award her an extra drama point.
Spike – is loving his relationship with Buffy. He is still ‘chipped’ but has kind of got used to it.
Xander and Anya – have announced their engagement and are planning their wedding. Well, Anya is planning and Xander is trying to pay attention.
Tara – is wishing things could be different between her and Willow. She also wants to stay part of the group but is getting left out.
Dawn – wishes everyone would pay her more attention. The scoobies are going to get that message in episode 6.14 Older and Far Away.

The Doctor, Rose and Jack are having a more relaxed recently. The last Dalek has been laid to rest, and the last thing the Doctor and Rose had to worry about was Jack keeping his hands to himself. They recently visited a planet called ‘Woman Wept’ with an odd shaped continent. It is about the time something dangerous happened to them.
